This is just a few of the dolls from my senior show. I am using the "Russian Nesting Doll" form and painting cougars as my surface decoration. I am attempting to juxtapose maternal icons from opposing cultures to see what comes of it. How does this reflect women of American and Russian cultures? How does this make you (the viewer) feel?
